Dr. Scott Stripling, The Bible Seminary in Katy (Houston), Texas, Director of Excavations for the Associates for Biblical Research at Khirbet el-Maqatir and Shiloh, Israel, will discuss how Shiloh in Israel is the location where the Israelites first set up the tabernacle for worshiping God. The tabernacle was a large tent. The question that historians have is "Is there a place at the site that would accommodate the structure and all the associated activities related to a robust worship and sacrificial system?" The presentation will review the highlights of three seasons of archaeological excavations at ancient Shiloh in Israel.
This lecture will be online via Zoom. Reminder that our Zoom webinars allow for 100 participants, but if can't attend live it will be uploaded the next day on the Museum of the Albemarle's YouTube channel. Must register in advance HERE.
