Digging for Truth TV

Today’s episode of Digging for Truth contains mature themes and subject matter, and so parents are encouraged to review the content first in order to determine whether the discussion is appropriate for their children. Today, we continue our discussion with Dr. Brian Peterson about the “Genesis mandates” found in the earliest chapters of the first book of Moses and we will be drawing on his book, “The Bible, Sexuality, and Culture" (Part Two).

Today’s episode of Digging for Truth contains mature themes and subject matter, and so parents are encouraged to review the content first in order to determine whether the discussion is appropriate for their children. It is rather self-evident that Western culture is destroying itself from within. The ultimate cause is idolatrous rebellion against God by way of rejecting the “Genesis mandates” found in the earliest chapters of the first book of Moses called Genesis. To discuss these mandates, Dr. Brian Peterson joins us to talk about his book, “The Bible, Sexuality, and Culture.”

Nate Loper joins us to survey the historical and archaeological connections between Israel and the Egyptian empire. We’ll be talking about Abraham, Ishmael, Joseph, the Exodus, Jeremiah, Jesus and even the early church (Part Two).

Nate Loper, the Executive Director of Canyon Ministries, joins us to talk about the Grand Canyon. Not only will Nate share how the evidence from the Canyon supports the historicity of Noah’s Flood, he will also be letting us know how you can take a once in a lifetime educational tour of the Canyon given from a biblical perspective. We hope you will join us for this latest episode of Digging for Truth.

Dr. Brian Thomas joins us to talk about the amazing way God has designed living things to adapt to their environments. Peppered moths, blind cavefish, and Darwin’s finches are usually touted as evidence for macro-evolution. But Dr. Thomas will explain how the evidence better fits the biblical framework on our next episode of Digging for Truth.

Associates for Biblical Research is excited to announce the publication of our excavations and research at Khirbet el Maqatir. Dr. Scott Stripling joins us to survey volume two, where he will share about discoveries from the intertestamental era and the NT. We will also discuss the possibility that Jesus Himself visited our site, just outside Jerusalem. Has ABR walked in the Footsteps of Jesus? Find out on our next episode of Digging for Truth.

The Israelites had numerous enemies which are explicitly recorded in the Old Testament. One such king was Hazael of Aram. Pastor Bryan Windle will be sharing archaeological evidence with us that demonstrates the historicity of this foreign king, and the accuracy of the descriptions found in the Bible.
