Dr. Charles Savelle has served as square supervisor and assistant square supervisor at Shiloh, since 2018. He also worked at Tel Gezer in 2017. He has a BA in Biblical Studies from The Criswell College and a Th.M. and Ph.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has taught at Dallas Theological Seminary, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, The Criswell College, The Bible Seminary among others. Charles has also ministered overseas in the Philippines, Korea, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Hungary and has helped lead several tours to the Holy Land. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, the Institute for Biblical Research, the Society of Biblical Literature, the American Schools of Oriental Research, and the Near Eastern Archaeological Society.
