The first eleven chapters of the book of Genesis lay a biblical-theological and historical foundation for the rest of the Bible, and for the history of humanity. Together, we will explore the major elements of Genesis 1-11, including: the creation account, the creation of male and female, the fall of man and its scope, the Flood, the Table of Nations, and the Tower of Babel incident. Over the course of eleven weeks, our classes will include video sessions from the television program, Digging for Truth. We will also watch the film, Is Genesis History? We will be discussing what the Bible teaches and explore evidence from outside that Bible that supports its historical claims about human and cosmic origins. Join us on this exciting journey in Genesis!
