Archaeological Park Scheduled to Open at Shechem

The 2011 excavation season was recently completed at Shechem, one of the most important sites in the Old Testament. Mentioned over 60 times in the Bible, archaeological investigations have corroborated much of what the Bible has to say about Shechem's physical and cultural aspects.
